Mediterráneo is the leading end-to-end operator in Spain. With more than 60 years of experience, our main motivation is offering quality solutions to our customers and their properties. Currently, Mediterráneo manages, via its network of 30 offices, mainly in Madrid, Levante and Costa del Sol, more than 5,000 communities of property owners, serving more than 150,000 owners and managing a total of 200,000 properties located throughout Spain.

  • 1964

    The Property Administration Service is created

    In Benidorm, the Third-Party Property Administration Service is created by Caja de Ahorros del Sureste to serve communities of property owners. Strong tourist growth and the surge in foreigners called for a specialist service with the ability to offer assistance in different languages.

  • 1983

    Expansion

    Mediterráneo became the sector leader on account of the volume of estates managed, with approximately 700 communities of property owners and more than 40,000 properties managed, offering services to a large number of towns and cities along the Mediterranean coast. Alicante, Torrevieja and Cartagena, amongst others.

  • 1994

    Evolution and growth

    The company, which was constantly evolving and growing, gradually expanded its business areas, from the administration of communities of property owners to payroll management, social security, accounting and insurance brokerage. New offices were opened along the coast of Alicante and professionals from different countries recruited.

  • 2009

    Expanding the business

    The 2009 expansion into the rental management and the launch of the company's specialist department, given the critical mass reached, considerably increased the type of customer served by Mediterráneo, including large asset managers and property investors in the company's institutional portfolio.

  • 2010

    The arrival of a new investor

    The arrival of a new investor resulted in significant changes in the company's structure and objectives, accompanied by solid investment in technology and the recruitment of professionals specialising in the development of the different service lines. The new Strategic Plan places customers at the centre of all our activities.

  • 2014

    An anniversary smashing records

    We celebrated 50 years in business breaking records both in terms of number of employees and assets managed. Following the worst economic crisis in contemporary Spanish history, Mediterráneo has gained strength thanks to the commitment of its teams and the loyalty of our customers.

    Creation of the Services Platform - MiServ

    After the accumulated experience of working with more than 4,000 professional service providers, from the purchasing center of "Mediterráneo" a web platform is created that connects service professionals with individuals and companies that require actions on real estate assets.

    New business dimension - Mediterráneo Homes

    Constantly evolving and addressing the needs of existing clients, Mediterráneo Homes has emerged to offer professional and reliable real estate services through our network of 12 locations. We have all types of properties: new construction, existing homes, unique projects and more.
